Remove A Sim Card In I920

The SIM card is housed in the battery compartment.

The Motorola i920 is designed to work with Nextel's iDEN network. It uses a small microchip called a SIM (Subscriber Identity Module) card to connect to the network. The SIM card can also store contact information from your phone book. Removing your SIM card allows you to transfer your phone book easily from one device to another. It also moves your subscriber information, making it easy to set up a new phone. You'll need to remove the battery to access the SIM card.

Instructions

1. Press and hold the "Power/End" button for several seconds to turn your phone off.

2. Pull the battery door release button toward you to release the back battery cover.

3. Slide the cover forward and pull it off the phone. Grasp the bottom of the battery and push it toward the antenna. Lift it out of the phone.

4. Slide the SIM card to the left and pull it out of the phone.
