Unlock A Sprint Sanyo Cell Phone

You can unlock a Sprint Sanyo cell phone via programming.

Cell phone users who own a Sanyo phone and use Sprint for phone service have the option to change to another CDMA network provider, if they so desire. The procedure to unlock your Sanyo phone does not require much effort, and you do not need an unlock code. You can unlock your cell phone with the use of a USB cord and some assistance from a cell phone store representative.

Instructions

1. Go to the Web page of Sprint PCS (see References) and log on. Once you sign in to your account, click "My Online Tools." Then go to the "Sprint Mobile Sync" section. Choose "Export Contacts," and adhere to the directions on your screen to make a backup of the addresses on your cell phone.

2. Find a store in your area that works with the network provider to which you plan to switch your service. Bring your cell phone to the store, and let the store representative know that you use Sprint right now, but desire to switch to their network instead. The store employee then installs the required programming onto your Sanyo cellular device. This enables you to use your cell phone with your new CDMA network provider.

3. Sign on to the Web page of your new cell phone network provider. Go to the mobile backup program. Upload the address book you recently backed up, and then click "Sync" to complete the process.
