Unlocking your cellular phone's keypad.
Your Nokia 6102i has a security feature which allows you to lock the keypad to prevent unauthorized use. Of course once you lock the keypad you will need to unlock it again in order to be able to use the phone yourself. The good news is that the process of unlocking your Nokia's keypad is fairly straightforward and can be completed in a limited amount of time. And because there's no programming involved you don't need to know much about electronics in order to do it.
Instructions
1. Power on your Nokia 610i and the unlock screen will appear on the main display display.
2. Use your phone's keypad to select the "Unlock" option.
3. Press the "*" button on your Nokia's keypad when you see the screen prompt and then you will be prompted to enter the security code.
4. Enter the security code you set upon purchase of the Nokia and press "Enter." The keypad will unlock and you will have full access to your phone.
