Transfer Files On A Bluetooth Mobile

Bluetooth technology allows two Bluetooth-enabled devices to transfer data back and forth via a wireless connection. This comes in handy on mobile phones, especially for sharing pictures and video. While all mobile phones have different settings and work in their own unique way, the use of Bluetooth is universal, so it works the same on any phone. A couple quick changes to the settings is all it takes to get started with Bluetooth.

Instructions

1. Turn on Bluetooth on your phone as well as the other device you wish to send files to. Depending on your particular phone, the process will differ for Bluetooth options, so check the user guide if you are unsure as to turn Bluetooth on. Generally, the Bluetooth options can be found in "Settings" or "Options" menus.

2. Browse for other Bluetooth devices with your phone. Again, the process for this differs depending on the phone, but generally, you must highlight the Bluetooth icon, press the "Menu" button on the phone and select "Browse Devices" from the options. Check the phone's user guide if this does not work for your phone.

3. Highlight and select the device you want to connect to once the search for devices completes. You may need to assign a four-digit number code to connect the two devices. The code can be any numbers of your choice and it must be typed in on both devices.

4. Locate the files on your phone that you want to send via Bluetooth. Highlight the files, press the "Menu" button and choose to send through Bluetooth. The exact wording for this option will differ depending on the phone, but it should be easily visible from the menu.

5. Select the paired Bluetooth device that you want to send to. You may have to type in the number code on both devices again.
