Transfer Contacts From Wm6 To Android

Windows Mobile 6 (also known as WM6) is an operating system that was released in 2007 for use on mobile phones. Mimicking the desktop version of Windows, Windows Mobile offers familiar PC computing in a mobile form. The Android mobile operating system automatically syncs with the Google account associated with it. If you want to move your contacts from a Windows Mobile 6 phone to an Android phone, upload those contacts to the Google server.

Instructions

1. Click "ActiveSync" on your Windows Mobile 6 phone's home screen. Click "Set up your device to sync with it."

2. Type "m.google.com" in the box under "Server address." Enable the SSL connection. Click "Next."

3. Enter the login information for the Google account associated with your Android phone. Leave the domain field empty. Click "Next."

4. Click the box next to "Contacts." Click "Finish." Click "Sync."

5. Open the address book on your Android phone. Press the "Menu" key. Click "Refresh" to download the contacts from the Google server.
