Put Back Together A Nokia 6085

The Nokia 6085 is a model of cellphone manufactured by Finnish telecommunications company Nokia, based in Espoo, near Helsinki. If you have previously taken apart your Nokia 6085 for storage, maintenance or repair, you can reassemble it quite easily to bring it back into use. The 6085 only has a few parts, making for a simple assembly. You should be able to have your Nokia 6085 up and running in under 5 minutes.

Instructions

Assembling The Phone

1. Look inside the back of the phone. Place a fingernail inside the SIM card holder, and lift it open.

2. Slide the SIM card into the holder with the chip facing toward the bottom of the cellphone. Close the SIM card holder, making sure the chip on the SIM card is in touching the gold-colored contacts on the phone.

3. Insert the battery with the label side facing upward so contacts on the battery line up with those on the phone. Slide the battery in top first until it clicks into place.

4. Replace the battery cover by placing it over the battery and sliding it toward the top of the phone. The cover clicks when properly inserted.

5. Plug the charger into an outlet. Connect the other end into the small circular socket on the bottom of the phone. If the phone has been out of service for a prolonged period of time, the battery may need charging. You can now switch on the phone.

Inserting an SD Card (Optional, If Necessary)

6. Look for a small flap on the side of the Nokia 6085. Open it by sliding a fingernail behind the door.

7. Insert your SD card with the gold connectors facing toward the top of the phone.

8. Close the door. You can now switch on the phone.
