Remove The Battery Cover On A Casio Brigade

The Casio Brigade's 1440 mAh capacity lithium-ion battery and microSD memory card are protected by a sealed cover at the back of the phone that keeps out dust and water. Although you can unlock the cover with the cover lock switch, the seal between the cover and back is maintained with a tight fit design. As a result, this design makes it necessary for you to pry the battery cover away from the phone to remove it.

Instructions

1. Turn off your Casio Brigade phone.

2. Hold the phone with the front face down.

3. Look on the left side of the back for the battery cover lock switch. Slide it from the "Lock" position down to the "Free" position to unlock the cover.

4. Place your fingertip in the recessed spot on the upper left side of the cover and pull up to open the cover from the left side of the phone to the right. If you have difficulty prying the cover away from the phone, use the tip of a flathead screwdriver instead of your fingertip and nail in the recessed area to pry the cover from the phone.

5. Remove the cover from your Brigade and set it aside.
