Instructions for Pairing Jawbone Bluetooth Headsets to Your Device
Before you can use your Jawbone headset, it will need to be set up with your compatible phone. Setup involves connecting the two devices through pairing, a one-time process that allows the Jawbone to communicate with your phone when it's within range. You'll need to charge your Jawbone fully before pairing and first use. Charging the battery completely usually takes about two hours. Disconnect your headset from the charger when you're ready to begin the task and leave the headset powered off.
Instructions
1. Press your phone's "Menu" button and choose "Settings" or "Tools." Choose "Bluetooth" and "On" to turn Bluetooth on.
2. Press and hold the "Noise Shield" button on the top of your headset for approximately three seconds. The indicator LED will flash red and white to indicate that the headset is in pairing mode.
3. Select "Settings" from your phone's menu, then choose "Bluetooth." Select "Add New Device" or "Search." Your phone will now attempt to locate your Jawbone.
4. Highlight "Jawbone" from the list of devices that appears. Choose "Select" or "Pair." Your phone will prompt you to enter a passkey--type in "0000" and press "OK." A confirmation of successful pairing will be displayed. Your Jawbone and phone will connect automatically.
