Your iPod
touch displays a wallpaper image on the home screen under the icons. While Apple allows you to change the wallpaper image, Apple does not allow you to use animated or moving wallpaper images. With a jailbroken iPod touch, however, you can modify your device so that you can use animated wallpaper images.
Instructions
1. Tap the "Cydia" icon on your jailbroken iPod touch.
2. Tap the "Manage" icon.
3. Tap the "Sources" option.
4. Tap the "Edit" button and then tap the "Add" button.
5. Enter "http://i.danstaface.net/deb" in the search bar and tap the "Add Source" button.
6. Tap the "Search" button. Enter "vWallpaper" and select the "VWallpaper" application.
7. Tap the "Install" button.
8. Tap the "Confirm" button.
9. Tap the "Restart Springboard" button to reboot your iPod touch.
10. Tap the "vWallpaper" icon.
11. Tap the "Video Wallpaper" button.
12. Slide the "Enable Video" switch to the "ON" position.
13. Tap the "Select video to play" button.
14. Select the animated wallpaper you want to use on your iPod touch.
15. Click the "Yes I Want" button to install the animated wallpaper on your iPod touch.
