Use a PIN code to unlock your SIM card.
NET10 is a prepaid wireless company, offering a variety of phones to use with its service. NET10 has several LG branded devices that are designed to work with its plans. Each one uses a small card called a SIM (Subscriber Identity Module) to store important information like your phone number. The SIM in your LG device is removable, and can be protected from unauthorized use by setting a security code. If you've locked your SIM and do not know the code, you may need to contact NET10 for assistance.
Instructions
1. Press the red "Power/End" button to turn on your phone. When the SIM card lock is turned on, an "Enter PIN" message will display on the screen.
2. Enter your four- to eight-digit SIM PIN.
3. Press "OK." If the correct code is entered, the SIM will be unlocked. If you do not know the PIN, continue to Step 4.
4. Contact NET10 customer support by calling 1-877-836-2368. Request the PUK (PIN Unblocking Key) for your phone. This will allow you to reset the PIN code and unlock the SIM card.
5. Follow the customer support representative's instructions for entering the PUK code into your LG phone. Press "OK."
6. Type in a new PIN code when prompted. Press "OK." Re-enter the new PIN to confirm and press "OK." The phone is now unlocked.
