Back Up Multimedia Messages On The 8 Gb Nokia N95

The 8 GB Nokia N95 phone offers considerable storage space for multimedia content, but once you start adding large files such as videos and songs to it, you can fill up those 8 gigabytes quickly and you may not have space for other files such as multimedia messages. Instead of erasing them entirely, you can back them up on your computer using Nokia PC Suite. The application comes on a CD when you purchase the phone, so you can easily install it on your computer.

Instructions

1. Connect your Nokia N95 to the computer. Use a USB cable for this purpose since it offers the fastest connection method for moving large multimedia files.

2. Select "Nokia Mode" on your phone after connecting it to the computer.

3. Wait for Nokia PC Suite to automatically launch on the computer.

4. Click "Backup" on Nokia PC Suite window. The Nokia Content Copier will open.

5. Click "Back up."

6. Select "Multimedia messages" from the list of content types.

7. Click "Next."

8. Enter a name as well as storage location on your computer for backing up the messages. For instance, you may choose "My Nokia MMS" and "Desktop."

9. Click "Next."

10. Wait for the phone to send all the messages to the computer. Once the process is complete, click "View the Report" to see the details of the backup operation.
