Set Up Voicemail On A Blackberry Curve 8310

When someone calls your BlackBerry Curve 8310 and you do not answer, your voicemail greets her on your behalf. How you present yourself to callers can give them certain impressions about you. This is why it is important to set up your voicemail to represent your personality. The way your BlackBerry Curve 8310's voicemail system runs depends on the mobile provider but most of them follow the same basic setup.

Instructions

1. Press the green "Call" button to open the phone menu. Press the "Menu" button. Click "Call Voicemail."

2. Press the number "1" key to set a password for your voicemail box if desired. Enter the numeric password followed by the "#" key. Re-enter the numeric password followed by the "#" key to confirm the choice. Press the number "9" to go back to the main menu.

3. Press the number "2" key to enter the outgoing message setup. Select whether to use a recording of your voice saying your name, the computer recording of your number or a recording of your voice with a personalized greeting.
