Program Nokia N80 Cell Phones

As of 2007, the Nokia N80 has been one of the smallest cell phones from the Nokia line. However, it does come packed with features such as Wifi access, a 3 megapixel camera and a media player. Since this is not your typical cell phone, it may look confusing to use at first. All you need to know is program the cell phone. Learn the basics of your Nokia cell phone before attempting to use its other features. The most important part is that you are able to make calls and to change the look and sound of your phone.

Instructions

1. Press the red soft key on your phone. Wait for your cell phone to turn on. Your phone then contacts your network and activates your phone.

2. Wait for a text message. It should say, "Your phone has now been activated." Press the red soft key again to restart your phone.

3. Wait three seconds and press the red soft key again. Your cell phone is now ready to program.

4. Press the big silver button to access your menu. Navigate to your "Contacts" and select "New Contact." Enter the person or company's phone number, cell phone number and email address.

5. Press the silver button. Navigate to "Sound Settings" in the "Tools" menu. Change your cell phone's ringtone. Play a sample of each ringtone and select the one you like. Change the volume of your phone while in that menu.

6. Press the silver button. Go "Tools" and "Themes." Change the look of your wallpaper, your menu or your clock. All of these changes display on your Nokia's screen.

7. Press the red soft key when satisfied. Look at your screen to see if it is to your liking.

8. Slide out your keyboard carefully. Dial a phone number or send a text message.
