Your old Bluetooth headset is compatible with a PS3.
You can pair any Bluetooth headset or headset/microphone with a PlayStation 3 (PS3) system. If you have an extra Bluetooth headset that you used for a cell phone, that device will work with the system. You do not have to purchase the Sony headset. Before you pair the device with the system, it should be fully charged. It typically takes two hours to reach a full charge. When it is charged, you can connect to it and chat online with friends and strangers across the world in chatrooms and multiplayer online games.
