Formatting the Memory
1. Turn on your cellphone by holding the "red button" or "end call" button.
2. Go to the "tools" section on your phone and click on "memory." This will bring you to the settings that control the memory of your phone. Be very careful not to choose or click the wrong options. Some users have lost all their contacts due to fiddling with the memory settings.
3. Click the "options" command within the "memory" menu system and then click "format." The phone will prompt you and warn you that formatting will erase all the data on the memory card. If you wish to continue, then click yes and in a few seconds your memory card and phone will be formatted.
