Find My Phone Provider

Finding out who your phone provider is can be useful if you are interested in making calls within your network. Many phone providers do not charge you for phone calls made to other people who subscribe to the same service. Placing calls to people that are in your network will allow you to use your minutes for out-of-network calls. If you are in a different network from most of the other people you call it would be worth changing providers so you can benefit from in-network calling.

Instructions

1. Locate a website that will give you information for all phone numbers. These websites will tell you who the provider of the service is as well as the location where your phone is registered.

2. Enter your phone number. Input your phone number in the search box. Exclude dashes when putting in the phone number.

3. Click "Search." Clicking the "Search" button will generate the report that you want. You will be directed to a new screen that will tell you your provider as well as basic information.
