Use The Kodak Micro Sd Adapter

Kodak micro SD cards are for use in camera phones.

The Kodak micro SD card is produced to be used as memory storage for cell phones. Even with the extra memory capacity, the micro SD card is designed to be small enough to fit into a cell phone. Due to its small physical size, in order for the Kodak micro SD card to be read by a computer it has to be inserted into a micro SD adapter, which brings it up to standard SD card size. Once in the adapter, the micro SD card can be inserted into a card reader and can then be read by a computer. The Kodak micro SD card adapter is included when you purchase a Kodak micro SD card.

Instructions

1. Remove your micro SD card from your phone by gently pushing in on it until it clicks out of its locked position. Pull the card out of the micro SD card slot.

2. Take your Kodak micro SD adapter and hold it flat in front of you, label side up. The end of the card adapter that inserts into the computer has a small notch in the upper corner. The end that you insert the micro SD card into has a slot that is just big enough to hold the SD card.

3. Insert the micro SD card into the slotted end, label side up.

4. Insert the Kodak micro SD card adapter into the card reader. The adapter will work in a USB card reader as well as a built in card reader on your computer.

5. View the files on your Kodak micro SD card by going to "Start," then "Computer" or "My Computer," then click on the drive that lists your memory card. This may be listed as "Removable Disk" and have a letter behind it such as "H." With the drive open you can view files on the micro SD card and delete some if desired.
