Introduced in 2006, the Nokia N73 phone can play video and music files in formats like MP4, WMA and WMV. YouTube plays videos in FLV format directly from your browser. If you want to save a YouTube video on your N73 so you can play it there, you'll need to first capture the video in a compatible format using some free tools available online. You can then transfer the video using the native Windows Media Player program.
Instructions
1. Go to a file conversion website (see Resources). Select the option to download from a website. Paste the address of the YouTube video you want to download into the text box. Select "WMV" as the output format. Click "Convert" to download the video.
2. Connect your N73 to your computer with the USB data cable.
3. Click "Start," and select "Windows Media Player." Select the Sync tab.
4. Click and drag the YouTube video from the My Downloads folder (or another folder) to the Sync List in the Sync tab in Windows Media Player.
5. Click "Start Sync" to download the YouTube video to your Nokia N73 phone.
