Learn unlock your phone's security features.
If you own a Haier HC-D1600 phone, you will discover that it has security settings to protect your private information and to prevent unauthorized use. Every time you power the phone on, it will prompt you to unlock your re-usable identification module, or RUIM, card, which stores your contacts. Do this with a four-digit personal identification number. The phone will also prompt you to unlock the phone with a separate phone unlock code if it is in idle or if you try to access your security features. You can adjust these security settings to your personal preferences.
