Unlock the Nokia 2700 C for Free
Some of the old Nokia cell phones can be easily unlocked using a free code. You can find these codes from various online code generators. However, the Nokia 2700 Classic is a relatively new handset, and the only way to get an unlock code for free is by obtaining it from your network carrier. Different network providers have different policies concerning phone unlocking. Mostly, carriers let you have these codes if you're traveling internationally and don't want to pay roaming charges.
Instructions
1. Contact the cellular network provider whose network the phone is currently on. For instance, if it's on T-Mobile network, call the T-Mobile custom service department, and submit a request for the phone's unique unlock code that would liberate it from the network restrictions. It may take more than a day for the company to generate the code and email it to you.
2. Turn on your Nokia 2700c without any SIM card in it.
3. Type the code "#PW+CODE+1#," where "CODE" is the unique unlock code you obtained from your network carrier.
4. Wait for the phone screen to read "SIM Restriction Off." Your phone is unlocked.
