The iPhone is designed to sync information and data with the iTunes program on your computer. However, iTunes limits the data that you can transfer from your iPhone to a computer. It is, however, possible to download several third-party applications that allow you to transfer all types of data from your iPhone to a computer. Examples, of these third-party applications include Tipard iPhone Transfer, imToo iPod Computer Transfer and DiskAid.
Instructions
1. Open an Internet browser on your computer and download and install a third-party iPhone-to-computer transfer application. Examples, of these third-party applications include Tipard iPhone Transfer, imToo iPod Computer Transfer and DiskAid. (See References)
2. Attach the iPhone data cable to the port located at the bottom of your iPhone and connect the other end of the cable to an available USB port on your computer.
3. Open the third-party transfer application on your computer.
4. Select the files you want to transfer from your iPhone to your computer.
5. Click the "Transfer" button to transfer the files from your iPhone to your computer.
