Cricket offers flashing services in its stores and indirect dealers. Flashing involves remove the Verizon firmware from your phone and replacing it with the Cricket firmware. You can contact Cricket beforehand to find out where you can have your phone flashed in your area.
Instructions
1. Back up important information on your phone. Use a memory card or MyBackup software from the Cricket network. Follow the instructions for saving your information.
2. Bring your phone to your nearest Cricket dealer. Ask the representative if your phone is compatible with the network. Provide the model number. If so, request to have your phone flashed.
3. Activate your phone to the network. Pay any fees associated with activating and flashing your LG phone.
4. Store the information back on your phone. Insert the memory card on the side of your phone's port. Alternatively, you can log in to Cricket and use the MyBackup software to save the information back on your phone.
