Remove A Nokia Phone Battery

Nokia is one of the largest wireless phone manufacturers in the world and it makes dozens of different models available on the U.S. market. Although most Nokia wireless phones are going to last you several years without error, you may run into an issue at some point that requires you to remove the battery and perform a restart. Due to this, it is a good idea to know remove the battery from your Nokia phone.


Instructions


1. Hold down the power button on the Nokia wireless phone to turn the phone off. It is a good idea to have the phone off when removing the battery. This is going to help reduce the chance of losing information from the phone.


2. Flip the phone over and pull the slide cover off. Usually there is a small compartment where you can place the tip of your finger or fingernail and then pull down. The cover is going to come off without too much issue.


3. Pull the battery out of the Nokia phone. Look for a metal connector that touches the battery. This is where the phone makes a current with the battery. Push the battery toward this metal connector and pull it out.


4. Place the old battery or a new battery back in the Nokia phone. Clip the protector back into place and press the "Power" button to restart the phone.
