How Tether My Verizon Cell Phone For The Internet

Internet tethering, or using your cell phone to access the Internet for a computer or laptop, is available on many Verizon Wireless handsets. This feature gives you access to the Internet in situations where Wi-Fi is unavailable for your computer. To help you complete the Internet tethering process, Verizon Wireless offers the VZAccess Manager program to its customers. The program itself is free, but to use the Internet tethering service you must have a compatible phone and a qualifying data plan on your account.

InstructionsAll Programs>Verizon>VZAccess Manager. Click "Next" on the first screen. Select the type of wireless device you want to use with the VZAccess Manager. Click "Next." Select "USB port" and click "Next." Click "Finish" when the VZAccess Manager recognizes your cell phone.

5. Click "Connect" from the VZAccess Manager home screen to begin Internet tethering. Click "Disconnect" to stop Internet tethering.
