Pairing Instructions For The Jabra Ote3

A Jabra Bluetooth headset automatically puts itself in pairing mode and begins looking for your cell phone the first time you power it on.

The first time you turn on your Jabra type-OTE Bluetooth headset, such as the BT2050 or the BT2070, it will put itself in pairing mode. Pairing mode means your Jabra headset is sending out a Bluetooth signal to your cell phone. The process allows your cell phone to remember that signal and automatically connect to it later. Enabling your cell phone to initially pick up the Bluetooth signal and connect to it involves a few steps.

Instructions

1. Make sure your Jabra headset is charged, but turned off.

2. Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your cell phone. The setting is found under "Settings" or "Networks" on your phone's main menu. Some phones also will require you to select "Find New Device." Check your phone's user manual for instructions.

3. Press the "On/Off" button on your Jabra headset for several seconds. The "On/Off" button is the large, central button on the face of the headset. The headset's light will begin to flash.

4. Continue to hold down the "On/Off" button until the headset's light glows steadily.

5. Wait for your cell phone to recognize the headset and follow the instructions on its screen.
