Cell phones go with their owners everywhere. It is so easy to just push a button, point and click that perfect snapshot. Some cell phones have smart chips or other removable storage devices. There are a couple of ways to upload cell phone pictures to a computer without cost or difficulty.

Determine Connection and Equipment Needed
1. Determine the type of connection you will use to upload pictures from your cell phone to your PC. For example, if your telephone has Bluetooth capabilities and you have a notebook computer with Bluetooth, you may be able to upload pictures without purchasing any additional equipment.
2. Purchase any additional equipment needed, such as a data link cable if your phone did not come with one.
3. Make sure that the new cable fits properly in your cell phone and computer ports. The computer connection should be a basic USB connection.
Download and Install Software
4. Visit the website for your cell phone's manufacturer. Search for downloads or software and locate the proper download for your cell phone.
5. Install the software and follow directions carefully. Often, there will be very specific steps involved in ensuring that the cell phone and the computer recognize one another. For example, if you connect the phone before downloading and installing the software, the computer may not recognize your cell phone properly.
6. Test the software and make sure everything is working properly. You should be able to pull up the software and upload all the pictures and videos from your cell phone.
