If you use your cell phone as a digital camera, eventually you might want to get the photos off the phone and into a medium for printing copies or creating a slide show on a CD-ROM or recordable DVD. Digital photos also consume a lot of memory space, which is another reason to move photos off your phone. Use these steps, which will work with any web-enabled cell phone, to transfer your pictures from the phone to your computer, where you can edit, print and rearrange them.
Instructions
1. Open your phone and from the main menu select My Pictures.
2. Use the up and down buttons to scroll through screens of pictures, then highlight the picture you wish to transfer to your computer.
3. Choose "Send" from the list of options that appear after you select a picture.
4. Choose whether to send the picture to your e-mail address or to an online photo album if that service is available from your cell phone service provider. If you do not have an online album, you will need to set up the album before you can transfer photos. Contact your service provider or follow the instructions on the company's website.
5. Use the text buttons on your keypad to enter your e-mail address or select "Online Album."
6. Press "OK" or "Enter," depending on the phone model.
7. Check your e-mail address from your computer or laptop, or log in to your online album to see your photo.
8. Copy the photo to a folder on your computer.
9. Open the picture in imaging software such as Adobe Photoshop to edit the image and save it to your computer.
10. Repeat the steps to transfer, save and edit multiple photos on your computer for creating a slide show or making prints from a color printer.
