The Mac Blackberry 8300 is one of the more popular electronic handheld devices today, but that doesn’t mean that everyone finds it easy to use. In fact, a number of people have problems getting their ringtones to transfer to their phone when using Bluetooth technology. This entire process is fairly easy to do though, especially if you follow a few simple steps. Before long you can have all your ringtones safely saved on your phone.
Instructions
1. Look for the "Media" button or application on the Blackberry 8300 and open it. You’ll see a variety of different options on the phone, but you want to select the "Ring Tones" button.
2. Choose between the three different applications: "All Right Tones", "My Ring Tones" or "Preloaded Ring Tones". It doesn’t matter which one you choose, as long as you choose one of the ringtone categories.
3. Push the Blackberry button on the right hand side of the phone. This button looks like a dial and should be somewhere near the button with a green phone on it. Pick the "Receive Using Bluetooth" option when it comes on the screen. Now you’ll need to wait a minute while the phone connects and transfers the files.
4. Open your "Bluetooth File Exchange" on your MAC and choose the "Send File" option. You should see the Blackberry 8300 listed under your devices. Select the send option and choose to send it to your Blackberry 8300.
5. Check your Blackberry 8300 and you should see the program asking you where you would like to save the file. Choose your location and press save. Now all of your ringtones will be safely saved on your Blackberry 8300.
