The Apple iPhone is a new kind of cell phone that allows for easy navigation. You can make calls by simply finger-tapping a name or a phone number in your address book. And, like email, the iPhone lets you check your voicemail messages in any order. Deleting email and voicemail messages is also quick and easy to navigate.
Instructions
1. Tap with your finger the "Mail" icon at the bottom of your iPhone's display screen. The icon is indicated by an envelope symbol and is located between the "Phone" and "Safari" web browser icons on the bottom of the screen.
2. Go to your email account screen. Tap "Inbox" to see all of your messages.
3. Tap on a message that you want to delete once you open your "Inbox." Open your message, then tap the trash icon. Or, swipe left or right over the message with your finger, then press "Delete." This appears as a red button next to the message that you wish to remove when you swipe left or right on the screen.
4. Press the "Phone" icon to view the number of voicemail messages. Go to your "Voicemail" page at the bottom right corner of your screen. Tap on the message, then tap the red "Delete" button at the bottom of the "Voicemail" page. The message will be sent to the "Deleted Messages" list at the end of your list of undeleted and unheard voicemail messages.
