Set The Clock On My Jvc Car Stereo

After personally installing or having your JVC car stereo professionally installed, you will need to perform the initial setup. You can program the radio preset stations and adjust the audio tone levels to your precise preferences. Before fine tuning the audio levels, set the clock on your new head unit to the correct time. When traveling outside of your time zone, you will also need to know adjust the JVC car stereo to the correct local time.


Instructions


1. Press the "ATT" button located on the lower right corner of the JVC stereo to power on the unit.


2. Press and hold the "Menu" button (located on the left side of the stereo, to the immediate left of the circular volume dial) until the clock is shown on the stereo's display.


3. Press the volume dial to switch to the clock setting menu. Turn the dial clockwise until "Clock Set" is shown in the display. Press the dial.


4. Turn the volume dial to adjust the hour on the display to the correct time of day, then press the dial. Turn the dial to adjust the minutes accordingly. Press the volume dial once the correct time has been entered.


5. Turn the volume dial to choose between 12- and 24-hour time. Once your preference is shown in the display, press the dial to end the clock setting.
