Use Bluetooth On A Nokia 2600 Classic

Using Bluetooth, it's possible to connect a hands-free headset to the Nokia 2600 classic.


The Nokia 2600 classic is a candy bar GSM camera phone, featuring an integrated VGA camera, FM radio and Bluetooth connectivity. The 2600 Classic also has MMS, Nokia Xpress Audio Messaging, e-mail support and mobile Internet access via its WAP browser. Using Bluetooth, it's possible to transfer files to and from the Nokia 2600 classic as well as connect a Bluetooth headset for hands-free calling.


Instructions


1. Open the "Menu" and select "Settings" to open the settings menu.


2. Select "Connectivity" to open the connectivity menu.


3. Select "Bluetooth" to open the Bluetooth menu.


4. Select "My Phone's name" to define a name for your phone to identify it to other devices.


5. Turn on Bluetooth by selecting "Bluetooth On."


6. Select "Paired devices" to open the Bluetooth paired devices menu.


7. Select "New" and "Pair" to pair your phone with another Bluetooth device in range. Enter a passcode on your phone to allow connection of the desired Bluetooth device.


8. Select the device under "Paired devices" to see the capabilities of the device or alternatively access the phone from the paired device directly.
