Use A Mobile Phone As A Bluetooth Headset

Turn your mobile phone into a handsfree device with the advanced Bluetooth technology.

Bluetooth technology reigns as one of the most popular, widely used technologies among mobile phone users. Relying on Bluetooth technology, you can exchange data from fixed and mobile devices, providing wireless connections and maximizing use of various communication devices. You can use a mobile phone as a Bluetooth headset by "pairing" the two devices using Bluetooth technology, allowing you to keep your hands free and use your mobile phone safely while driving or completing other tasks.

Instructions

1. Charge the Bluetooth device.

2. Turn the device on once it is fully charged.

3. Turn the device to "Pairing Mode." The process varies from one model of Bluetooth headset to another, but for most devices, you must hold down the power button or turn a switch on. Once the device is in pairing mode, you should see a flashing light.

4. Turn the mobile phone to "Discovery Mode," found under "Settings," and search for or add a new device. The phone should search for Bluetooth devices in the area and a listing for your Bluetooth device should show up after a few seconds.

5. Click this listing or "OK" to connect the two devices.

6. Enter the password when prompted. To establish a connection between the two devices, you must enter a specific passcode for the Bluetooth device on your mobile phone. Refer to the product's manual if you are unsure of the password, but in most cases "0000" is the default password. Every time you turn the two devices on in the future, they should pair automatically.
