Delete Phone Numbers
on a Sanyo Cell Phone
Phone numbers in a Sanyo cell phone can be stored one of two ways. Numbers can either be stored in the phone's call log history, as a result of call activity being made, and they can be programmed into the phone's Contacts folder. But nevertheless, regardless of where they are stored, they can always be deleted from the phone. The deletion process only takes a second once you have a full understanding of the phone's navigation.
Instructions
Delete Phone Numbers from Contacts
1. Press the "Menu OK" button at the top of the phone's keypad to view the main menu.
2. Use the four navigation buttons at the top of the keypad to move the cursor to the "Contacts" thumbnail icon.
3. Open the phone's Contacts, and select the "Find / Add Entry" sub-option in the Contacts menu.
4. Scroll through the list of Contacts and go to the Contact with the phone number you want to delete.
5. Press the phone's right soft key in the upper right corner of the keypad to access the Options folder for the Contact.
6. Go down the pop-up list and select the "Delete" option by pressing the "Menu OK" button.
7. Press the "Menu OK" button again to permanently delete the phone number out of the Sanyo cell phone.
Clear Phone Numbers Stored in the Call Log History
8. Press the phone's "Menu OK" key on the phone keypad to access the main menu.
9. Go to your Call History menu option and the folder will display the phone's last 20 incoming, outgoing and missed calls.
10. Select the call list where the number you want to delete is stored. Choose from your incoming, outgoing or missed calls folder.
11. Scroll down the submenu list of calls to locate the phone number you want to delete out of the phone.
12. Press the right soft key to see the options for that number, and select the 'Delete" action.
13. Press the "Menu OK" option, once again, to choose the OK option on the pop-up screen that will appear on the phone's screen to confirm the action.
