You should be able to access contacts on your phone if you didn't save contacts to your sim.
If you did not save your contacts to your SIM card, you will still be able to access your contacts even when the SIM card is not installed. You will need to connect your phone to your computer to access the necessary files that have contact information. Some phones, depending on the manufacturer, will allow you to access certain components on the phone even without the SIM card inserted. Attempt to search for contact numbers anyway even if there is an indication message telling you there isn't a SIM card installed.
Instructions
1. Connect your phone to your computer via the USB cable that came with the device.
2. Wait for your computer to recognize the device as an external hard drive. Navigate to "Start," double-click "My Computer" and look for the drive letter associated with your cell phone if it does not come up automatically.
3. Search the files located on your phone that resembles "Contacts" or "Address book." Your contacts will be listed either by name or phone number, which can be copied and pasted into another document like Word.
