Reset A Kyrocera Net 10 Security Code

Change your Kyocera Net10's security code.


The Kyocera Net10 phone is the Kyocera 126C programmed for Net10 service. The Kyocera is a popular phone brand and Net10 is a cell phone company that allows you to pay per call rather than sign a contract to use their service. The Kyocera is a fairly simple phone to navigate on and, as such, changing your security code on it can be done in a few simple steps. Changing your security code is important so that your personal information can be protected. Also, most Kyocera Net10 phones share the same factory default setting for this security code. This means that anyone who knows the manufacturer's code could access your phone's security if you do not change it to a personalized code.


Instructions


1. Close all applications or menu options that may be open so that your Kyocera Net10 is at is home screen.


2. Press the "Menu" key on your phone's keypad.


3. Select the "Settings" option.


4. Select the "Security" option.


5. Enter "0000" when prompted for a "Lock Code." If this code does not work, enter the last four digits of your cell phone number.


6. Select the "Lock Code" option.


7. Press the "OK" button on your phone's keypad when prompted with the message "Change Code?"


8. Enter the new code of your choosing as prompted.


9. Enter the new code again as prompted to confirm your choice of the new code.
