Reset The Puk Code For An Iphone Without A Sim Card

A PIN unlock, or PUK, code is a unique number used to unlock a subscriber identity module, or SIM, after unsuccessfully entering the PIN code multiple times. You can locate your iPhone's PUK code online or by calling AT&T customer support; to reset or change your PUK code, contact AT&T customer support or visit any AT&T retail store to request a PUK reset. You can reset your iPhone SIM's PUK code with or without physically possessing the SIM card.


Instructions


1. Call AT&T customer support at 800-331-0500.


2. Answer the customer service representative's security questions to verify your identity. Examples of typical questions include your iPhone's phone number, the last four-digits of your Social Security Number and your billing address.


3. Request that the customer service representative change or reset your iPhone Sim's PUK code. The customer service representative resets the PUK code while you wait on the phone.
