Unlock A Samsung Model Schr430

Unlock your SCH-r430 before making a call or sending a message.

The phone lock function on your Samsung SCH-r430 cell phone, also known as the MyShot R430, restricts outgoing calls, menu access and volume controls when it is switched on. This is useful for protecting your messages, contacts and pictures if the phone is lost or stolen. Unlocking your phone enables outgoing calls (only 911 emergency calls are possible with the lock active) and opens access to the phone's menu system. A four-digit code established when the phone was locked is required before the lock switches off.

Instructions

1. Switch on the phone by holding the "End/Hang Up" button for a few seconds. Press any button if the phone is already switched on. A screen appears asking for your lock code.

2. Enter your four-digit code using the phone's number buttons. The default code is the last four digits of your telephone number.

3. Press the silver "Menu/OK" button in the middle of the arrow buttons. The phone unlocks with the correct code.
