Retrieve Deleted Sms From The Nokia 6126

Retrieving a deleted SMS from a Nokia 6126 can be done in a few minutes with the right tools.

The Nokia 6126 is a flip-top phone that is small enough to fit into your back pocket. It came out in 2006 and was sold by the AT&T network. If you have accidentally deleted an important SMS from your Nokia 6126, you can still retrieve it using a SIM card reading device. This tool will allow you to access your phone's memory on the card and undelete the message.

Instructions

1. Obtain a SIM card reading device (see Resources for links). A reader costs $50 to $100, as of 2010.

2. Install the software that comes with the card reader. Insert the CD into your PC's drive and click the "Next" button. Agree to the "Terms and Conditions," click "Next" again and the program will begin to install. Wait for it to complete.

3. Take out the battery and remove the SIM card beneath it.

4. Plug the SIM into the USB card reader. Plug the card reader into the USB port of your computer and wait for it to be recognized.

5. Double-click on the SIM card reading application icon. From the tabs, click on "File" and select "Download Text Messages."

6. Allow the SIM card reader to retrieve all the messages from the Nokia 6126. A list of messages will appear. The deleted ones will be marked in red. Click on the ones you wish to recover and select "Restore."
