Make Pictures On Skype

Use your webcam to take a unique picture for your Skype profile.

Skype is an instant messaging system that you can use to stay connected with friends and family. A photo helps your friends and family know that it's you when they search for you in Skype listings. It also adds a dash of personalization to your profile. You can upload a profile picture of yourself to your Skype account from your computer, or you can use your webcam to take an instant snapshot.

Instructions

1. Sign into Skype.

2. Click "Tools" on the menu bar and then click "Options."

3. Click "Video settings" under General. A live feed from your webcam will appear on screen.

4. Click "Take video snapshot," then click "Take snapshot."

5. Drag the frame to the area of the photo you want to use. Drag the slider at the bottom left corner to make the frame larger or smaller.

6. Click "Save snapshot" to open the picture library. To use that picture as your profile picture, select it and then click "OK."
