Check Voice Mail From a Home Phone
Checking voice mail from your home phone is easy to accomplish. In addition to your home phone, voice mail services are commonly found on cellular phones and office lines. Instructions
1. Dial the number of the voice mail box that you would like to check from your home phone. If you would like to check your home phone voice mail, you would dial your home number. You would follow this same procedure for your cellular phone and office line.
2. Wait until the voice recording plays. Once you reach the end of the message press the "Star/*" key on your home phone.
3. Listen for the directions on your home phone. On some voice mail accounts, you may be prompted to re-enter your "voice mail number." Your voice mail number is essentially the telephone number that you are trying to check. However, some voice mail accounts ask you to enter the extension of the mailbox that you are trying to check.
4. Enter your password when prompted. You may need to press the "Number/#" key to confirm the password. You will receive access to your messages shortly after.
