Insert A Microsd Into A Blackberry

Your BlackBerry has enough built-in memory, ranging from 256 to 512 MB, to let you shoot dozens of photos. But, if you really want to take advantage of the device's media features, you should install a microSD card. These types of memory cards can expand your phone's memory up to 32 GB, depending on the size of the card you purchase -- enough to store hundreds of photos. Install your microSD card by sliding it into the memory card slot inside the phone's battery bay.

Instructions

1. Turn off the BlackBerry.

2. Locate the device's battery cover on the rear of the phone. The cover dons the BlackBerry logo.

3. Grip the cover and slide it down to remove it. The battery, SIM card slot and memory card slot appear in the exposed bay.

4. Locate the microSD card slot, positioned below the SIM card slot below the right side of the battery. The slot is a metal harness.

5. Slide the microSD card into the slot, pushing the thin side in first, until it locks in place.

6. Reinstall the battery cover.
