Connect your computer and cell phone via infrared
Maybe you need to move some ringtones or other files to your cell phone, but you forgot to bring your sync cables. In this day and age of Bluetooth most people have forgotten that using infrared is another viable option for transferring files wirelessly. While the transfer speeds are not as fast Bluetooth it will get the job done.
Instructions
1. Turn your computer on and go to "Start Menu" and then to the "Control Panel." Look for the "Infrared" icon and click on it. Click on "Activate Infrared" and then "Ok."
2. Turn your cell phone on and go to the Main Menu and then "Setting" and turn the infrared to "On." Set your cell phone next to the infrared port on your computer.
3. Go back to your computer and find the file that you wish to send. Right-click on the file and select "Send" and "To Infrared Device." A window on your cell phone will appear and will ask you if you wish to accept the transfer. Click "Yes" and wait for the file to transfer.
