Remove The Faceplate On A Nokia 6126

The Nokia 6126 is a flip-top phone that comes with a 1.3 Megapixel camera and a wireless Bluetooth connection. It also has an MP3 player and a micro SD memory card. If you broke the faceplate on your Nokia 6126 and don't want to purchase a new phone, simply replace the faceplate. This only takes a few minutes.


Instructions


1. Power off the Nokia 6126 and take out the battery. Look at the back of your phone. You will see four screws on each side. Remove all of them.


2. Use a flat-head screwdriver to release the four clips from the phone. There are two clips on each side of the phone.


3. Slide the clips off the Nokia 6126 to totally unlock them. This will let you disassemble the phone.


4. Lift the faceplate of the Nokia 6126 from the circuit. Remove the keypad as well.


5. Put the new faceplate on the Nokia 6126. Press it gently to secure it in place. You should hear the clips lock.


6. Replace the keypad you removed earlier. Make sure each key has a contact with its corresponding button.


7. Put the casing back together and insert the screws. Replace the battery and turn on the Nokia 6126.
