Update your Facebook Fan Page from anywhere when you register your mobile phone.
Facebook Fan Pages, better known simply as "Facebook Pages," are Facebook profiles for businesses, brands, organizations, causes, clubs and concepts. When you register a mobile phone with a Facebook Page you operate, you can receive notifications of activity on your page via SMS text messaging through your mobile phone provider. You can also update your Facebook Page by sending texts to Facebook. Registering your mobile phone lets Facebook know who you are when you want to update your Page while in transit.
Instructions
1. Log into your personal Facebook account at facebook.com.
2. Click "Account" in the upper-right-hand corner of Facebook and click "Use Facebook as Page."
3. Click the "Switch" button next to the Facebook Fan Page with which you would like to register your mobile phone.
4. Click "Edit Info" under your Page title.
5. Click "Mobile" in the left-hand menu.
6. Click the "Sign Up for SMS" button in the lower-right-hand corner of the screen.
7. Click the drop-down box marked "Country" and select your country name. Then click the drop-down box next to "Mobile Carrier" and select the name of your mobile phone provider. Click "Next."
8. Send a text message containing just F -- without quotes -- with the number 32665 as the recipient. Leave this Web page open and wait to receive a text message from Facebook.
9. Type the code you received on your mobile phone into the box on the Web page you left open in Step 8.
10. Uncheck the box next to "Add this phone number to my profile" if you do not want this mobile phone number to appear anywhere on your Facebook Fan Page. Otherwise leave the box checked. Click "Next."
