Flash Player To A Cell Phone

Flash player is a video codec that is used on many popular websites, including Yahoo and MLB.com. Adobe, the company that created the Flash player technology, has created an official Flash player application for Android phones, which allows you to view Flash content on your mobile device. While there is no official Adobe Flash application for the Apple iPhone, a mobile application called Skyfire, which can stream Flash video, is available in the iTunes App Store. Both applications enable you to enjoy a majority of the Flash video content on websites such as YouTube.

Instructions

Install Flash on Your iPhone

1. Double-click your Web browser's desktop icon, and type in the Web address for the Apple iTunes homepage (see Resources). Click the blue "Download Now" tab in the top right portion of the screen to download the latest version of the iTunes music management software. Double-click the software installer's icon on your desktop to begin the installation process. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the installation, and press the "Finish" tab. Wait for the program to automatically launch.

2. Click the "iTunes Store" tab on the left side of the screen to launch the App Store. Type "skyfire" into the search field on the top right corner of the screen, and press "Enter." Press the "Buy Now" button to purchase and download the app, which cost $2.99 as of December 2010.
