Install A Sim Card On A Nokia 2720a2b

SIM cards make activating a new phone easy if your old phone is broken.

SIM cards contain the phone number associated with your phone and all your contacts. These cards allow you to transfer information easily between cell phones -- you can remove the card from one cell phone and place it in another, and your phone number and all contacts will be contained on the new phone. The Nokia 2720-A is a small flip phone and requires some delicate work when installing a SIM card; however, it is a simple process that just about anyone can do.

Instructions

1. Turn off the Nokia 2720 and remove the charger.

2. Remove the back cover of the phone by pressing down on the cover and sliding downward. Look into the area exposed by removing the cover and identify the battery. It is rectangular and is the largest piece in the back of the phone. Remove it.

3. Open the SIM card holder. This piece flips up from the right side of the phone with the phone upright and resting on its front. If there is already a SIM card in the phone from a previous user, remove the card.

4. Place the SIM card into the SIM card holder with the metal contact surfaces facing down. Close the SIM card holder.

5. Replace the battery and slide the back cover into place.
