Receive Multimedia Messages on an iPhone
Multimedia messages (MMS) are picture and video messages that you can receive on your iPhone. MMS messages are sent and received via a cellular service provider's text messaging system that is enabled to send and receive MMS messages. The multimedia portion of the text message will appear within the text message as an attachment similar to an email attachment. In the United States, the iPhone is sold for exclusive use on the AT&T Wireless Network. ATT&T's text messaging service is automatically enabled to send and receive MMS messages.
Instructions
1. Press the round button at the bottom of your iPhone's screen and slide your finger as instructed to unlock your iPhone.
2. Press the "Messages" icon on your iPhone.
3. Select the multimedia message you would like to open from the list of available text messages.
4. Press the attachment embedded within the text message to open and receive the multimedia portion of the text message.
