Use Your Own Phone On Telus

Telus Mobility is a High-Speed Packet Access (HSPA) cellular service provider that operates in Canada. If you have an unlocked HSPA cellular telephone, you can use your own phone on the Telus network. Phones require a Telus subscriber identity module (SIM) card to operate on the Telus cellular service network. By inserting an active Telus SIM card into an unlocked HSPA phone, you can use the phone with Telus.

Instructions

1. Power off your cellular phone.

2. Locate the SIM card compartment on your unlocked HSPA cellular phone. Normally you can find the SIM compartment under the phone's battery. If you can't locate your phone's SIM card compartment, consult the owner's manual for your cellular phone.

3. Insert an active Telus SIM card into the SIM card compartment. Replace the battery if necessary and power on your cellular phone.

4. Wait for the Telus logo to appear in the upper right corner of your phone's display. When you see the Telus logo, you can make and receive calls and text messages on the Telus network using your phone.
