Operate A Nokia 6300

The Nokia 6300 is a multimedia cell phone that can be used for a lot more than just making and receiving phone calls. With the Nokia 6300, you can do more than just text message your friends. You can send them multimedia messages. You can also capture video and images with the built-in camera on the Nokia 6300. If you get bored, you can use your Nokia 6300 to listen to music or browse the Web.


Instructions


1. Press the large center Menu button to open the Menu screen. Select "Messaging" then "Create Message." From there, you can select the type of message that you want to send. Options are text, multimedia, flash and audio. Multimedia messages are picture or video messages. If you have a picture or video on the memory card in your phone just use the "Insert" option on the screen after selecting "Multimedia Message" to select the multimedia item. This will add it to the message that you are creating. You will also be able to add text to the message if you want before sending it using the "Send" option on the screen.


2. Take pictures with your Nokia 6300 using the built-in 2-megapixel camera. From the Menu screen select "Media" and then "Camera" to get started taking pictures. Press the volume keys on the phone to zoom in and out. Take the picture by selecting "Capture" and your image will save to the memory card in the phone.


3. Record video with the camera by using the left and right navigation keys to switch between still and video camera if you are already taking photos. You can also access the video camera capability from the Menu screen by selecting "Media" and then "Video" to get started. Select "Record" to begin capturing video. The video will save to the memory card in your phone.


4. Access the Internet on your Nokia 6300 so that you can download games, music and applications to the phone. To quickly access the Internet, you can press and hold the "0" key to pull up the homepage of your phone service provider. You can also connect to the Web from the Menu screen by selecting "Web" and "Go to address" and type in the web address and select "OK" to connect. Browse pages by scrolling and select items by pressing the "call" key or "Select."


5. Listen to music on your Nokia 6300 from the Menu screen by selecting "Media" and then "Music Player." Use the scroll key to navigate through the music tracks on your phone. Select "Options" and "Music Library" to jump to a specific song or playlist. You can also listen to the radio by selecting "Radio" from the "Media" screen. Use the forward and rewind keys to search for a station.
