The Nokia 7370 is a tri-band GSM (global systems for mobile communications) cell phone that can be unlocked to work with various carriers worldwide. The process can be completed by purchasing your phones individual unlock code from an online unlocking service and then by properly inputting that code as required.
Instructions
1. Power on your Nokia 7370 and type in "*# 06 #" and your phone's IMEI number will display. Right down your IMEI number for use later in the process. You can also remove the phones battery and write down the IMEI number off the phones information sticker.
2. Visit a popular unlocking service. Two authoritative options which have been in business for several years include Unlocking.com and GSMLiberty.
3. Find your phone on the unlocking site you choose by typing "Nokia 7330" in the unlocking services search box or by choosing the manufacturer "Nokia" and then the model "7330."
4. Fill out the payment information for your phone. This information will include a credit card payment (some sites accept Paypal) and most importantly your phones IMEI number. You must type in the correct IMEI or the unlock code you receive will not work.
5. Submit your payment information and wait 24 to 48 hours to receive an email with your phones unlock code.
6. Example Of SIM Card
Turn off your cell phone and remove the battery. Underneath the battery locate the phones SIM card and remove it. Plug the battery back into the phone and turn on your device.
7. Type in the unlock code you received from the unlocking service. Once entered the message ""SIM Restriction Off" will appear, the unlocking process is now complete.
